LeSage Arts Management is a new consulting practice borne out of 25+ years of excellence in executive arts management across multiple artistic disciplines by owner and principal, Jeanne LeSage.
After arts management positions at organizations such as the Toronto International Film Festival, the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Royal Opera House Muscat, Abu Dhabi Film Festival, the DeVos Institute for Arts Management, and more, LeSage Arts Management now provides counsel, solutions, and support to Not-For-Profit arts organizations in areas such as strategy, strategic human resources, board relations, operations, and more. Sector expertise includes performing arts, festivals, and international cultural projects.
Jeanne is a highly respected senior arts management professional with national and international experience in festivals and multidisciplinary performing arts. She is known to be a strategic thinker, skilled facilitator, and effective leader, with highly tuned diplomatic skills. She is adept working with all levels of stakeholders - from volunteers to board members; from artists to donors; from staff to municipal leaders.
Jeanne is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and holds a Drama and English degree from the University of Toronto, a certificate in Human Resources from George Brown, and an MBA in Management Consulting at Royal Roads University. The topic for Jeanne’s MBA final research paper was “Who will lead Canada’s Performing Arts Organizations?”, a study on what is required to develop, select, and retain the future leaders in our sector.
